Be SEEN ON THE ROAD!!!

I've been riding a bike for a long time now and there a still idiots on the road who always think that the road only belongs to 4 wheels vehicles.  I have been squeeze by cars bus trucks countless of times. These drivers are blind...so my advice to my other fellow bikers is make yourself seen when u ride..extra riding light or daylight works..Hi vis helmets jackets also help...I'm starting by making my head as visible as it can be...Hi Vis helmets...it does help..I've notice the alertness of other road users..try it..it may safe your life...

Fuel preferences : Ron 95 or Ron 97

Well..i had heard a few biking frens talk or argue on this matter. Here in malaysia we have two types of fuel variance for the petrol range. The Ron 95 at a government controlled price of $1.90 per litre and the Ron 97 following the world oil barrel price that change accordingly at $2.85 per litre..

So the debate was which fuel is best for your bike..well for a working class fella biker who rides his bike daily of course i would choose the Ron 95 fuel base on the price itself. Performance wise was never an issue for me since day one since i got the bike as i know my bike is notva race or a supersports bike.. so after 10k km done on the bike..feeling a bit rich on the pockets I've decided to fill up the bike with the Ron 97 type for the first time last weekend..and all i have to say is...WOW WHAT THE F**k!!

Bike was a totally different animal..it has transformed into a ktm hooligan bike...mid range to top end power was different. Ride was more responsive and more aggressive... I like!  Best mod so far i am say...

I'm hooked! But have to only use it when I'm riding with my buddies now..can't afford it on my daily use... i remembered my fren who rode his old er6n now upgraded to a shiver 750 rode with a bunch of bmw superbiker, they stop for fuel and the bmw bikers were filing.up with Ron 95 and my fren fill up with Ron 97.  They told him qnd said fuel is fuel, cheaper still does the job and the same etc..my friend beg to differ.  I now agree with him..hahaah

So..if u need a cheap power mod..use Ron 97.

RSSR guyd and happy Monday...

A good helmet makes a lot of diffence!

Well..rode the bike to work this morning..yes I work half day on Saturdays..I wanna talk abt having a good helmet makes the riding experiance more comfortable and safe. I have been riding to work using my rm$100 open face helmet which in my mind is ok. The idea is just that I ride inside Kayhell only and it tends to get hot, really hot during the days and the jams..so an open face helmet fits the bill..on certain days I will wear my flip up SOL helmet with my chrome visor. Works awesome on hot sunny days...but wind protection n noice..both helmet suxs..I have an ancient Shoei X8v I think and decided to wear it this morning. Man..what a diffrence!! On a naked bike this helmet is the shits!!! Speed above 140km/h is as steady as she goes...wind noice barely there. Plus it sits tight as hell on my fat face. So no movement.

So there. Used a good fitting helmet. Fullface if ur riding hard!!

So ride safe ride fast ride like u stole it!!

Hello ...

Mr. J reporting in from Kuala Lumpur Malaysia..

Will do my best to update this blog as what i see as an adventure that starts with my life now. Bought a 2012 Yellow Kawasaki ER6N 650 as a daily rider for me to and from work..will plan to use it more for other things..

The target is to ride to 1000 corners in Thailand by year end and see how much this little bike can achieve..

Well you guys should know the picture and how the bike looks..if not..

Here it is...got it of the web...

So as you can see...its yellow..and black..people are calling it the "bumblebee" or "Belalang Kunyit"..I'm calling it the only color that i had to choose at the time of purchase...hahahhah

So...let us ride safe and see what i get into with the bike..Assalamualaikum
